This one time in the Bahamas.....

Please bear with me as I document my oh so awesome family adventures....

A few lovely weeks ago my family and I boarded a plane and flew across the country to Orlando, Florida. This was quite the experience since i'd never been anywhere past Colorando.

We liked the plane.....on the way there.....

The very next day, we jumped aboard the Disney Wonder notknowing what
awesomeness awaited us.

Also not knowing how freakin windy it was going to be in Florida....

We quickly took note of where the ice cream and soda machines were,
making mulitiple trips even before the ship set sail.

I also discovered the movie theatre which would be showing Princess and the Frog
I saw it twice while i was on the ship.

Don't judge.

The next day we were captured by the natives of Nassau....
...just kidding....
but we take a limo ride tour of the entire island with Joe-Joe as our chauffer.
The weather in the Bahamas was absolutley beautiful.
Me and some ancient battle ground.

Me and Nat at the top of Queen's Staircase, and giant handcarved passageway.

We got to stop by the Atlantis Hotel. Stunning. Everything was covered in gold and

elaborately carved to resemble sea life.

Yay for Casinos!!!!

Just your typical Disney Cruise lunch.
Philly cheese steak, crab claws, strawberry tarts, chocolate mousse.....

Our cruise would have been incomplete if we didn't see Mickey!!

And my personal favorite, Princess Tiana.
I swear I was worse than all the little girls...
Me and Nat practically chased her down.

Belle:)

For the first time, my family experienced fancy dining.
Complete with appetizers, drinks, main courses, soups, salads, and desserts.
And the best part?
There was no limit. You could order whatever you wanted and how much you wanted.
Food, glorious food!!
Each night was a different themed cuisine, so we got to try all sorts of shmancy stuff.
Fruit soups, banana butters, creme brules, souffles, and seafood out the wazoo.
The picture above is Stephen, our server, in action as he placed our napkins in our laps
each night for dinner.
He was from Trinidad. Kate, our other server, Australian.
Awesome!

Tis us goofballs after the "formal" dinner night.
We just thought Ariel looked so beautiful.

Just a snapshot of Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.
The water was beeeee-OO-tiful!!!

We spent the afternoon soaking up some sun on the beach
and riding cruiser bikes up and down the island.

They even had more ice cream on the island!!!!
Squeeeeee!!!!!!!

Yay for snorkling.

Not.

It was salty and fishy and yeah...

You might call me a party pooper.

But if fish were touching your legs you wouldn't like it either.

Seeing the giangantuous sea slug also blew it for me.

such creatures should not exist.

The Disney Wonder:)

OH hey look its Peter Pan!
Yeah we're pretty tight with Peter and all the Lost Boys.

One of my favorite things was the fresh pineapple and coconut fried bananas you could get at dinner!!!

Our lunchtime view.

The sunsets each night were absolutely gorgeous!

The gift shops were also quite entertaining.

The night before my birthday I got my very own birthday cake!

.....which put me on a sugar rush the rest of the night....

Such an amazing experience!!
Such a fun trip!!
I will miss all the food dearly......

More updates to come:)
