Weekend Happyness: Saturday.

Last but not least, Shelby Clifford turned 19.
So we had a party!!
( do I even need to announce that?)

Since she summer is practically here and Shelby reminds us of a beautiful mermaid, we had decided to go with a tropical/mermaid theme.

For decor, we had some old sunken treasures complete with dingle hoppers and a few other utensils.
And thanks to Shelby's mom, we were supplied with all sorts of bright colored table decorations, letters, and table cloths.
And what's a tropical party with out some seashells, right?
Of course, we HAD to portray Shelby as a mermaid.
Ain't she perty?
Don't worry, she was accompanied by a few under water friends.

Again, thanks to Shelby's mother, we were supplied with a plethora of sea shell and coconut bras.
Awesome right?

Although, some people did have a little TOO much fun with them.
*cough*brett*cough*

And BOY was Shelby lucky to have this surprise waiting for her when she arrived!!
Mmm yeah.
Happy Birthday Shelby.
Even luckier, she got a great big hug from ALL of them!
So lucky.

Naturally, we went swimming for the party.
And, yeah.
It was cold!

In attempt to stay warm we made human towers...
Well, us girls ATTEMPTED to make a human tower.
Ended up making an awkward train instead.

The boys on the other hand didn't do half bad.
I mean look at Ryan's face?
He seems to think they did okay.
Note: These pool pics were brought to you by Shelby's sister who stole my camera and is awesome.
In another attempt to stay warm, we had chicken fights!

And speaking of chickens...
...can you spot it?

For dessert we had these Uh-mazing tropical fruit sorbet thingys.
Thank you Costco.
Seriously, these things were DELICIOUS!
We kinda loved them.
And since I am Coconut's biggest fan, I really kinda loved them.

Again, Shelby's mom, being the awesome lady that she is, made this awesome cake.
And Brett smashed it all over Shelby.
I'd say she had a pretty lucky birthday.

It's kinda sad that it's our last birthday for now, but hey, we always find an excuse to throw a party:)
