As part of our Christmas, my parents surprised us by taking us on a day trip up near Flagstaff to see the snow and to ride the Polar Express. All of us kids have always been young at heart, so they figured that we would enjoy a magic train as much as (if not more than) all the 4 and 5 year old sitting next to us. Our parents know us pretty well I guess 'cause we sure had a good time. When we pulled into town, snow had started falling and you'd have thought we'd won a million dollars or something, we were so excited. Later that night we got all bundled up and boarded the train to the North Pole. On the way we were served hot chocolate and cookies, read the story of the Polar Express, sang Christmas carols, and even visited by Santa who gave everyone a magical sleigh bell! It was the perfect way to end Christmas for us and hopefully someday it can be something we can do with OUR kids!
magical white stuff.
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes.
Mom photo-bomb.
just a bunch of snow bunnies.
after taking a sister picture it was only natural we took a brother picure.
and by we I mean alex because he's our only brother.
mother and father stewart, looking so festive in red.
aboard the polar express. which we sometimes pretended was the hogwarts express, just to change things up a bit.
i mean, you'd think i'd never seen santa before...
bells from the jolly man himself.
